Default FX/Reflections Top Coat

Just wanted to say that I used Mother's FX for the very first time last week and it was awesome. I also used Reflections top coat for two layers on top of the FX and it looked amazing. The top coat gave the deep look to the torch red paint.

Questions: 1. Am I defeating the purpose of the FX by toping it off with Top coat? Should I have used Reflections wax instead of FX and than top coat?

2. I also purchased the spray wax FX, If I use it over the Reflections top coat will it not get rid of the top coat as the FX has cleaners in it? Should I use Mother's showtime instead or will that do the same.

Very happy with the products to date that I have used and I really like the new look/line

Cool Re: FX/Reflections Top Coat

Doesn't that stuff look good! This is the way I understand it and if Forest, at Mothers, sees this can correct if needed. Reflections is a synthetic blend with natural waxes. FX is a straight synthetic. Both have cleaners. Top coat is a synthetic carnauba blent with no cleaners. Here is where I think I'm correct but not 100% sure. FX spray is a synthetic wax with no cleaners and therefore should go over the Top Coat with out removing it? Hope Forest chimes in. The main difference between Reflections wax and FX is the look you want. You will see this more on a dark car than a light one. Reflections will give a deeper shine and FX will be a shinnny look. Top Coat with no cleaners goes over each nicely. Which look you want is up to you. Some here have said FX does better on light colors such as silver because on light colors shine is easier to get than depth.
Thats my 2 cents worth. Hope this helps more than confuses.

A point of clarification:

Reflections Car Wax is a synthetic wax with a light polish in it. Top Coat is a synthetic/carnauba hybrid without any polish in it.

Could you please tell me the difference between "A synthetic/carnauba hybrid with no polish" and a synthetic/carnauba blend with no cleaners or is one just a scientific explanation ? Are cleaners and polish one and the same or different?

Forrest T, I am still safe to do this or not, sir?

Does the Spray FX have cleaners/polish in it? Thank you.
