fx spray wax vs showtime

Just wondering about the differences between fx spray wax and showtime instant detailer.

1. Does fx apply the same as showtime? Meaning spray on , spread with towel, and wipe dry? No hazing

2. Can fx be used as a QD to remove dust, fingerprints, as a clay lube, etc... like showtime, or is it different from a QD?

3. My understanding is showtime adds absolutely no protection, but does fx actually add a protective coating? So if I never used another wax, and just used fx spray wax it would provide sufficient protection for the paint?

If FX spray wax can do everything showtime can plus add protection, it's gonna be a great product for me to switch to.

1. FX applies just as easily as showtime. It is actually more versatile than showtime because it can be applied to a wet surface.

2. To remove dust or fingerprints I think I would still stick with showtime, because FX Spray Wax says that it should be used on a "clean surface". And for claying, I would also stick with showtime. I would use the spray wax as just what it is: a spray wax

3. You are right, showtime provides very minimal protection. Whereas FX Spray Wax actually has some cajones to it. I personally wouldn't totally replace a traditional paste or liquid wax for FX Spray Wax becaue it doesn't have any polishing ability which is needed to help maintain a finish. However, suppose one day you wash and wax your car with FX Synwax and then a week or two later you want to wax again to add some protection but you are short on time. FX Spray Wax would be the perfect solution because it is fast and easy to use and it provides a nice high gloss shine.

I personally have used FX Spray Wax once on my silver car and I love it. So far the durability seems to be pretty good, being that is a spray wax.

So how does the finish look of FX spraywax compared to Showtime, is it more reflective or deeper? I like the look of showtime, but want to add some protection too. I plan on using the new reflections line soon, but was wondering if the fx spraywax on top of that will make the look more like fx instead of reflections. I'd choose the reflections spray wax over the fx if it applied the same, but unfortunately it requires a hazing over like a regular wax. In that case I'd rather apply a regular wax like topcoat instead of using the spray wax. What is making me consider FX spraywax is because it sounds as easy to use as showtime.

I use and like both.

FX for touch up and cleaning off road stuff and bugs. Using F/X is just like using Showtime a little deeper shine, just as EZ to use.

I like Showtime also and still use it sometimes.

If the car is clean and going to do the whole thing use Reflections, both have about the same amount of shine, but in my mind seems like reflections leaves more protection. I may be wrong about that though.
