Default Power Ball and polish questions.

My brother law in just bought a Harley Davidson that has been sitting in storage for 8 years. I haven't seen it yet but I think it will be pretty bad. I will be polishing it this weekend. I have the Power Ball, Mag and Aluminum polish and Chrome polish. Do I need any other polishes? I think I have my polishing steps down. Using either of the polish's use a little of the polish and check for a black residue, if there is no black residue I need to use a clear coat polish. I will take about 90 billion rags to buff of the polish
Can you give me any tips for getting the most out of the Power Ball? For the steel frame what polish should I use? I have read through the forums and would also like some general polishing tips.
Thanks for your help.

Shawn

When using the ball, spread the polish around BEFORE turning the drill on - it'll prevent splatter. Start the drill at lower speed, then crank it up after lightly working the area at low speed.

Don't be afraid to use some pressure to force the ball down in tight areas. For a painted steel frame, you'll likely want to use a paint care product, not a metal polish.

Thanks for the fast reply. I am hopeful that I can make a major improvement on this bike.
