Help on how to remove wax from a windshield

Hello everybody,

My problem is pretty common, I had my car washed and hot waxed in a carwash. No everytime it rains and i have to use the whipers, the whole windshield goes kinda foggy for a second... i need to remove the wax from the windshield.. i've tried to rub it down with the usual glass cleaner with no result.

Now is there any trick that can remove the wax from the windshield. Thanks...

I prefer using Chrome Polish - not only will it remove the hot wax, it'll clean all the other contaminants off the windshield.

I do the inside and outside of my windows a couple times year with Chrome Polish - it's time well spent.

Clean the glass with a glass polish like Duragloss 755 or alcohol or even #0000 steel wool and glass cleaner. Any of these should leave the glass clean as a whistle.

I just want to point out that you should never use this technique on window film tinting. It seems pretty obvious, but we all make mistakes from time to time.
