Default Vinyl top wax

I used to love Turtle Wax Vinyl Top Wax. I've owned several vinyl top cars and this was the ultimate treatment. It was sticky, dried and adhered to the top and when it rained or you washed the vehicle it stuck like glue - not to mention it last weeks or months. Since it was discontinued I've tried everything else but all the subsequent dressings etc. are basically just a running tire dressing which looks slimy when you put it on but runs down the sides of the car and onto the glass and paint, a real mess. Comments?

Sorry, but we don't make a product like that, nor do I know of anyone else.

Vinyl tops aren't very popular these days, meaning there's little demand for a product like that. However, I certainly see the need with your vintage Mopars.

Yeah I know I've tried it all. I saw there might be a product in Australia but I think if one ever does materialize it'll be a very small company making a very limited quantity. I've found some NOS Turtle Wax stuff but it's just about gone now!

Many years ago we would use Clear Floor Wax. It applies just like vinyl roof wax, just make sure that the top is very clean. The only way to get it off is with ammonia.
