Default Tiny Rust Spots on Silver Paint

I'm new here too and just registered. I have a 2006 Odyssey Silver Pearl and had the same thing happen, small rust dots all over the van. I tired waxing them out but my elbow gave way first. I bought the Mothers Clay bar stuff without checking into it before and it worked. The only thing I found is don't put to much of the detailer onto your surface as the clay just slides and doesn't do anything. I found a lite mist onto the surface and onto the clay bar gave me the best results. Make sure you turn the clay bar often and don't drop it. I put a plastic sheet on the ground and a good thing as I dropped the bar a couple of times where it didn't pick up debris. Hope this helped.

Welcome to the neighborhood.

In the future, cut the bar in half so that you'll have a spare in case (when) you drop it.

Even with the plastic I would still throw the bar away if I dropped it.

You can also just roll it in a ball and put it in a plastic food container or tub with a lid -- the ball shape keeps it from sticking, and it'll keep pretty much indefinitely.
