Talking What's your Top Three Favorite Mothers Products?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

For the fun of it and so that we'll get to know a bit about the members on this forum, let's put a fun question/survey for everyone.

What's your top three favorite Mothers products?

I'll start.

1. Mothers Pure Carnauba Wax Paste
- Gives a great shine and protection at the right price and in paste form that seems to last one hundred applications.

2. Mothers Carnauba Cleaner Wax Liquid
- Totally easy to use, has amazing surface cleaning power and leaves a really good coat of protection
- See my List of Things to do with 4 oz Carnauba Cleaner Wax included in Mothers Clay Bar Kit thread.

3. Mothers Showtime QD
- Gotta love that Cinnamon-ish scent.
- Really gives you that "just detailed" look.
- Great to use when attempting to buff off obscurely stubborn wax residue.

They're all good. (now I know what I'm actually doing)
However, my three would be:

1. The clay bar kit.
2. FX Synwax.
3. FX Spray Wax.

Why these?
Well, as I mentioned, they're all good, so what I based this on is what has given me the most satisfaction. That has stemmed not from my personal belief and usage, but from the pleasure I've gained from seeing the responses of others. I work on my car, and the cars of four family members. To them, a shiny car is, well, a shiny car.

1. The wow factor I got from all four of them before and after the effect of the clay bar was what gave me immense satisfaction. With the before I just explain what it is that makes the surface feel rough. The after is just seeing the look on their face and then watching them check it a second time. That's what makes me smile.

2. I use 3 products on those other four cars, but if I had to recommend one, it would be the Synwax. I got my daughter Tracie to apply it to one 2 foot by 2 foot section with the small round yellow foam applicator, and then to remove it with a MF. What she said was this.
"I had no idea it was really this easy."
She thought a result like that was what you paid big bucks to a professional detailer to do to your car, the day before you sold it.

3. I picked the FX Spray Wax for me, only because other than version one of Reflections Spray Wax, this is all I have used, but you could substitute any of the 3 Spray Waxes here. I picked this because of the reassurance it gives me after each wash, knowing I've boosted some of the Pure Carnauba Wax
that might have been lost during the time since application.

Tony.

Edit.

Same as Tonys for me except I have to add a forth, the Power Ball 4paint.
After using it it became one of my favorites right away.

I too like all Mother's products but here are my top three.

1. FX Tire Shine - Anybody who has read a few of my posts know I like a shiny tire. Whenever I see a detailed car or even a freshly washed car I always look at their tires. I think Tire Shine is the "cherry on the sundae".

2. Clay Bar Kit - I love the way it smooths the paint even before wax touches it. I was the best man in my buddy's wedding and we went a little crazy with the decorating on his "getaway" car. The Clay Bar brought everything off the paint and glass.

3. Car Wash - I love the smell, it cleans great, and it is the start of a great detail.

EXTRA The Wax Forum! They have solved many problems for me and taught me how to detail properly.

I love this line and I totally agree. Sad that a lot of detailers who buy all these expensive products cheap it out when it comes to a Car Wash. Those cheap car wash shampoos strip the wax and strips it bad.

1. clay bar kit (i hope nobody contests that there are 3 items in there already...)
2. instant detailer -- yes I know it ought to be included in the clay bar kit already but I love it, that's why I buy it by the gallon
3. chrome polish

Well here's a completely different one

1. Fender well brush - long
2. Sealer and Glaze
3. Plastic polish

The fender well brush is the best detailing product I have ever bought!
