    sprayer re-use

Does anyone re-cycle particularly good spray bottles from other products? You know, wash out a Meguiars FI spray bottle and use it for something else?

Also, where can I get some good spray bottles? I purchased some locally and they are very difficult to adjust correctly.

I LOVE the meg`s QD bottles, I always save them. Usually a body shop supply store should have some good sprayers, sometimes they have the meg`s detailer line sprayers. If you can find a local supplier of chemical resistant sprayers they are great, most of them will be grey. Also , zep makes a nice sprayer that is available at home depot.

The QD bottles are awsome the Mist is really fine I always wash and reuse my sprayers. I would get the Zep Professional Sprayers they are avalible at the home depot. Also check out other spray bottles from Meguiars Detailer Line they have spray heads and bottles.

These spray just the same as my EF bottles. The only difference is the seal in the sprayer is chemical resistant. The same site sells the standard version also, for like 3 bucks.I have so many bottles of stuff that they sit around a long time and I thought it would be better to get the upgrade.

Dude, can you imagine the crap I would buy if I detailed other peoples cars?!

    4 Stat Spray Bottles

I have use dhte 4 Start sprayers and am very pleased. I tried a few others, hit the locals, Home Depot and nearly any other sprayer I could find. What I liked about the sprayers at 4 Star is they have a nice action, good seal, and the sprayer head never falls out of the bottle. The spray pattern is very fine, sometimes too fine if I do not pay attention and adjust before spraying S&W, ends up as a super fine mist that any wind blows away. The sprayers are nive and robust, but, as with most sprayers, if you are using a solvent based chemical in the sprayer, spray water through them between uses and the solvents attack the plastic over the course of a week or so if left in the trigger head. I will be buying a bunch more of these, I like them very much.

I collect the Meguiar`s QD bottles from my friend, they are the best. The other one`s I like are from Downy, the wrinkle free spray, small size with a nice mist. I bought some professional bottles that are quite big with a nice spray but when they tip over they leak, not good for a mobile guy who drives his car like a race car.

The 4star Sprayers look just like the EF Sprayers which are top notch. I gotta try the Meguiars Detailer Line bottles and sprayers also. The EF and 4Star and Zep are all great cant go wrong with any of them.
