Factory Polished Aluminum wheels

I just recently put some Chevy 20" factory wheels on my Trailblazer. The window sticker on a Trailblazer SS says they are Polished Aluminum. I was wondering what wheel cleaner and polish I need....I am pretty clueless to this point. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Your factory wheels are polished, but then clearcoated for easy maintenance.

Wash them regularly with a quality car wash -- every time you wash your car, or more often if necessary. We recommend a wash mitt designated for wheels and other non-body-paint surfaces, so as to not cross-contaminate.

Periodically, you might want to use a spray-on, hose-off wheel cleaner that is safe for clearcoated wheels -- something like our FX Wheel Cleaner or Mothers All Wheel cleaner. Sometimes a little wipe with your wheel mitt will be needed to get rid of stubborn grime. Rinse thoroughly and dry thoroughly.

You can also use an instant detailer, spray wax, or normal paint care products to keep the shine on your wheels. If you should happen to get some light scratches, you might find a plastic polish will help address the tough plasticized clearcoat.
