What`s a good one day detail?

I`d like to detail some friend`s cars, but distance is going to make it a one day detail.

I have some good products, but of course most sealants require 24 hr cure times for subsequent coats ... so what`s that best one day detail? Are there any sealants that look good with only one coat? Or, should I just use SEPC + S100?

Do you have Poorboy`s EX Sealant by chance? Fast, easy, and doesnt need 24hours to cure

I think UPP is one of the best looking "one coat" sealants! As a matter of fact, I find it hard to tell the difference between one coat, and two coats! Same goes for EX!

For me the choice would depend on the color of the paint!

I sure do have EX. I always liked topping EX with S100. Thought you had to wait 24 hours to top it though.

Both cars are realtively new, paint in excellent shape. Both are dark ... one being blue and one black.

Don`t presently own UPP. Would AIO and 1 coat of UPP be a good choice?

Also own KSG and Sonus. Would AIO and 1 coat of SG be adequate?

I would rather do AIO/UPP then AIO/SG, jsut because SG can be a royal pain to remove if not properly cured.

    Thanks Tassadar,

Guess I`ll order some UPP and gloss enhancer. Was planning on ordering some S&W too since it`s on sale.

Not really, at first you will use too much. 3-4 ounces should cover and entire vehicle, top to bottom.

wow thats pretty good do you think it would be ok to use in the winter on salt coverd cars well I mean after you spray it down with water to get the actuall dried up crystals off then just have that hazy kind of dirt all over.
