Hi,

About a month ago, I asked about polishing and waxing re-painted areas of my car. And Craig replied as above.

I just found out that the paint was baked. Does it mean that I can use Mother's phase 2 (seal & glaze) and phase 3 (natural wax) without waiting for the paint to cure? (it's been more than 30days since the re-paint job was done but I wanted to wait longer...60days... to make sure the paint is cured before applying polish and wax).

And one more question... if re-painted areas were baked, what's the recommended waiting period?

YES....proceed full speed ahead with any and all of the 3 step Ultimate Wax System. Basically if a car is baked..then you can wax and polish right away...

In the other thread i posted forrest told me i could use the glaze, and i did with no problems. But are you sure about using wax right away if baked? Mine was baked but the shop told me not to use wax for 45 days. So i'm gonna wait and just use glaze every few days to protect it from birds dirt and weather.

The opinions of the actual painter supersede any of our comments, since he's the one who sprayed the car, and will be the best source for accurate information.

He knows how the paint was mixed, sprayed, baked, whatever, and can give the most accurate information. Craig and I must speak in generalities since we don't know the exact processes used.
