Default Seal Chrome After Polishing?

HEY GUYS AND GALS ITS THAT TIME AGAIN TO TEAR THE BIKE DOWN POLISH AND SEAL THE CHROME (WHEELS INCLUDED) .IVE ALWAYS USED THE MOTHERS CHROME POLISH BUT TO THIS DAY HAVE TRIED DIFFERENT SEALERS EVERY TIME.THIS TIME I'M TRYING M. FORMULA.
DO I NEED TO SEAL THE CHROME OR IS THERE SOMETHING OUT THERE THAT WILL POLISH AND SEAL.AM I WASTING MY TIME SEALING? I DO IT EVERY SIX MONTHS AND THE CANCER (RUST) ON THE CHROME IS STILL STARTING.
MY FRUSTRATION IS EVERYONE CLAIMS AFTER USING THEIR PRODUCTS YOU CAN WIPE CLEAN UNTIL POLISHING AGAIN .I NEVER RIDE IN WET CONDITIONS.
HOPEFULLY THIS MAKES SENSE

Your problem is one of location - chrome (and especially chrome plated steel) doesn't do well with salt water. And, Santa Barbara is rather close to the ocean.

You can apply a wax (I'd suggest our Natural Formula Paste Wax, part number 05550), but you'll need to reapply regularly, not once or twice a year.

Question Re: Seal Chrome After Polishing?

So A Wax Would Work Better Than A Sealer? And How Often?
Thanks

I don't have much chrome on my cars but have been using Mothers F/X spray wax on my paint and chrome about once a week, it really works well and is so quick and EZ to use you can use it often.
It keeps the chrome really nice.
