    EX over UPP today

I put the first coat of EX over two coats of UPP this morning. I did in out in the sun and left the EX on for about 45 minutes. Came off very easy. No problems. Some pics follow.

Notice the ring around my brand new tires. I purposely scrubbed them with an APC and left them undressed. I have to show them to the BFG dealer today. Maybe they will replace them.

This is after the wash with two coats of UPP.

Yeah those pcis could be slightly decieving, since the difference is going to be minute.

On the side pic it does appear that the house reflection is a bit "deeper" but that could be attributed to a change in lighting as well.

Yeah, it is hard to tell. I can definately say that I like EX. The shine is more noticeable in person. And I agree with others that the shine is slightly different than UPP, but I like the UPP also. After I washed the other day I used the UPP QD and that helped the shine, too. I think I`ll stick with these two for a while. Either one seperately or together makes my Silver Silverado shine!

I think next I`ll try just the EX on my wife`s dark blue Protege 5.

If you really want a nice ammount of light reflection, try using a microfiber when you QD (if you dont allready). I noticed quite a bit of a difference.

I love those cars! What a great deal. Nice and quick for a four banger and handles beautifully all for a mega low price tag. Not to mention it hauls 5 and still has room for a bike in the back pluss groceries. I almost bought one a year ago.

    Thumbs up

    rtbrick,

Looks great, and I agree.......... keep doing what you`re doing!

Also, I really like the Mothers QD over the EX, after the EX has cured for a couple hours. As a matter of fact, I like to mist my applicator lightly with the Showtime to aid in the application of the EX........ makes it go on even easier!

Gotta go now, Natty and I are going fishing!

    Have fun!

Truck looks great! The ring around the tires would bug me too, good luck getting them replaced. I will be trying my EX over two layers of UPP today, can`t wait.
