New to this game. I just bought a car (S70-Volvo)-- Love it.
Just was reading and have a quick question.
What is this thing - Clay with QD??
I understand claying. What is this `QD` for lubrication?

Also my car has these small chips in the from from
stones on road. Any suggestions for that?

QD Stands for Quick Detailer IE Platinum Ultimate Gloss Enhancer. It helps lubricate the paint so the Clay bar glides nice and easy. Hope this helps

Q.D.`s are also designed for final wipe down after a detail or up keep. They remove fingerprints, smudges, dust etc... and smooth out the wax and enhance the overall shine. As for rock chips...In my shop we glob the touch up paint into the chips or scratches and let it set up for a few hours in the sun then we wet sand the spots with 2000 grit untill the spot is level with the rest of the surface....buff ....wax....and there ya have it.
