Removing an emblem from a 3 year old car?

I`ve got a 2000 silver car that I want to remove the emblems from. I know that after a few years there`s some color fade and when the emblems are removed the difference is noticable. What about removing it from a bright silver color car, what results can I expect?

I would imagine you would still see that they were removed. If it were my car, I would leave em on. Let us know if you decide to do it anyway, I would like to know how it turns out - pics please.

Badges are badges, leave em on. Cars look funky without them.

opions stated as facts are not cool. I like the shaved clean look. If the emblem has pins in it that go into the car then yes it will show. If it`s just adheared on there with glue you can take it off clean and buff and you will never know it was there.

I would feel naked in my car without the "5.0" on the side. But thats just me.
