Leather and ... ugg ... ink

Any tips for getting ink off of leather? I tried the usual suspects to no avail. Hoping someone has a tried and true secret or product. Not sure how lone the ink has been there, but need to assume "baked" in

Already got the car back to customer (they did not pay for a full interior detail) but the ink got me PO`d and I want to take another whack at it for free just so I can not be beat by a litte ink pen!

Thanks for any help and advice!

Matt, I have removed pen ink from leather quite a few times, this ink from a pen that was writing (not an explosion). I have a leather brush (got it from CMA, cheap) I used that with Lexol cleaner with some hard work you can get rid of it.

    Tried the Brush

    Thomasfl,

Thanks for the tip. I did try a leather brush, but I did not use Lexol, I used another leather cleaner. Have you found there to be a significant difference in cleaners? This did not even make a dent in the ink mark.

Matt, actually the brush is what works for me, I don`t put that on the Lexol as it is pretty mild.
