    Black polishing pad

Hey i just bought the Pad collection from classic motoring and the black pad that comes with it is supposed to have a High cutting action. I just used it on my black e46 m3 and all that is left on the car is more swirl marks!! Does it get rid of all the wax and fillers to expose the true paint or did i just F#ck up my paint? It is only visible under florecent lights...........i used 1k RPM on my porta cable. How do i get rid of swirl marks on this dam car.......nothing that i use on my customers is working. Word of advise dont by a black bmw......softest paint made. Im selling this car this summer for a viper because i cant stand how hard it is to maintain this paint.

ps: I used 3m swirl mark remover for Dark colored cars.

Sounds like you need a high speed buffer. The rotarys only work to a certain extent, then you need the RPMs and heat of a rotary. If you aren`t Pro then take it and have it done correctly.
Sorry to hear about the bad time with this.

Sorry, I have kind of a dumb question. You said you used the black pad thinking it was cutting but it was actually finishing. You also said it put MORE swirls in your paint. What did you do wrong that a finishing pad added more swirls? Just wondering so I dont make the same mistake with mine. Thanks...

Do not worry about the polishing pad.......when i posted it was late at night and i wasnt thinking. The reason it looked like swirls was that there was to much wax on the car and when i buffed it off i smuged the wax.
