    SSR Questions

How strong is SSR2 I got all of the SSR line over at dwaynes but im debating if I need SSR2. I got DACP and SFP should I get Speed Glaze over SSR2. ?

Im also debating on SSR1 I love Menzerna FP and how it leaves the finish perfect after DACP or Other stronger compound. Does SSR1 have the power to do the same with a polishing pad. ?

Thanks just want to be sure for I got ahead and order.

I use a lot of speed glaze and a lot of SSR2. I think they are just about equal in terms of aggressiveness. For me the differences lie in the look and application.

You can apply SSR2 in full sun
    does not stain trim
leaves the finish very bright and clear
Apply to one section at a time, then remove

Speed glaze should be applied to a cool surface
    Will stain SOME trim
the finish is darker compared to SSR2
you can apply to the entire car, then remove

About the SSR1 vs menzerna, it has been a while since I used menzerna, but I would say that SSR1 leaves a VERY nice finish after DACP.

DACP ,SSR1, and LSP and you are set. Again IMO.

EDIT* I should have mentioned how much easier SSR1 is to work with when compared to the menzerna, for me anyway.

The Menzerna works best with rotary with low to medium humity I love it and passed that on to Clean Dean also it has a very deep wet finish I love. Im thinking of getting both SSR1 and FP, Does the SSR1 have a death in a bottle chemical smell like Menzerna. ?

Thx for answering my question so soon.

Not that I have noticed. I think it has a nice scent, but you know that is all subjective.

I tried the menzerna with the PC and rotary with an assortment of pads. It just doesn`t work for me. Nothing against the product, just my personal opinion.

I see, I use it with a Rotary and Edge white pads I put down about two lines and mist my pad and paint lightly with a silicone free QD spray. Then go on about buffing it till it disappeared doing the cross hatch pattern and its comes out perfect. Then I just take a MF and whipe the slight haze off the paint and it comes out crystal clear. It will gum up and be really hard to remove if you use to much or if it starts to dry.
