    Changing wash mitts

I just bought a bunch of wash mitts because my last wash mitt is starting to get flat. I got the sheepskin ones. What`s the average number of washings a mitt is good for before your risk damage to your car? I think I`ve over used the last one because I`ve used it for about 2 months, using it every weekend.

Sheepskin has been very durable for me. Although I have loads I can say I got mine about a year or so ago, still good enough to wash,no marring of any kind, although I retired it to wheels only. I use the Eurow $5 ones from WalMart, so fairly inexpensive to replace regularly.

Hose washing with traditional car wash soapI get about 12-16 washes before I deligate them to wheel or lower panel duty.

They could probably go a bit further, but with costco having the five pack of eurows @7 I figure why risk it.

Thanks for the responses. I`ve been getting the Costco mitts also for $7 or $8 for 4. They work great, but seem to get longer the more you use them. Figured I change um often as they aren`t too expensive.

I like the costco ones as well. I find that the bug scrubber side works well on my windows!
