Default Does Scratch Remover dull/damage the paint?

No, because you're using finesse rather than elbow grease. But you do need to wax it afterwards.

I guess that means that I have to make sure that I only apply it to the affected areas.

Is he applying it on the chrome finish?

No. California Gold is a product in our original paint care line. He is applying California Gold Scratch Remover to the painted area surrounding the door handle.

Do not use California Gold Scratch Remover on chrome or plastic chrome, which is commonly used on door handles.
