BEst DAP 7424 / Appropriate pads?

Im about to purchase the 7424 DAP, but i want to make sure i get the best. I saw the `Edge` site, and their video about velcro pads, and how their system is more efficient etc...does anyone have any feedback on my best option for a high quality 7424?

Also, what are you recomendations as far as Cleaner/Polish pads and also a wax applicator pad?

    Thx in advance.

The Meg`s kit dwayne sells is a great starter - velcro backing plate and three pads for cutting/polishing/application

I rarely ever use the red (cutting) the polish pad and soft buff are the ones that get the most use - I also picked up some Edge DA pads - one green, one blue and one white.

I have the edge pads - yellow, green, blue, and white - and I really like them. They are the only pads I have used thus far though so I can`t compare to other pads.:dunno

Do you use your edge pads on the DAP 7424 (via velcro attachment)?

Or do you have a different polisher that enables you to use their quik connect too?

The Edge pads are available with the velcro backing for DA polishers like the Porter Cable.

    Hehe, thx Charles.

My question is whether or not they offer that quick connect/disconnect feature on DA polishers (and i beleive that they dont ). I thikn it would be in the company`s best interest to offer something like that to all 7424 owners, b/c the design looks awesome and very innovative in my opinion.

    Thx for looking out though
