Hi! I just ordered my 7424 from Costaltool.com for $119. It comes with a polishing pad, counterweight and backing plate. All you need to do is buy more pads! Shipping was only around $9. I thought it was a really good deal.

Whether to buy online or not depends mostly on if you can wait for delivery (2-7 days depending on shipping type) and cost.

Sometimes lowe`s, home depot or other local stores have the 7424 for $99-109.

Online you can get it at many locations like www.premiumautocare.com (PAC)or at www.coastaltool.com. Both have good prices and PAC is the main sponsor of detail city. You can get a discount purchasing from PAC.

You can also order pads from PAC also. Many choices for pads and you can read through other threads to get recommendations on pads for the PC.

Go with Coastal Tools its the best buy that I have seen on a PC. I brough a DeWalt orbital from a local guy but he gave me a huge deal. He also will give me a loaner should I have any trouble with it.

I checked out the deal Dwayne has established for DC members. You get your 10% discount + pads and supplies. Everything you need to set you up. No additional A-La-Carting for the "best price" on pads and supplies, etc...
I decieded to give my patronage to Dwayne not only for the price but the ease and having a one stop shop I can trust! The bottom line when you compare everything you are getting....It is the BEST value on the web! Just having Dwayne available for support makes it the Best Deal!
