    1) Let the UPP set up for atleast an hour.

    2) 3M adhesive/wax removal or try alcohol

    3) I use full strength simple green, followed by a protectant of your choice

    4) You should be able to find the 3M product at wal-mart, it will be with the touch-up paint not the car cleaning aisle. I have used goo-gone on the outside of a car only in emergency situations, don`t know if it works on sap or not. Try some vinegar or alcohol if you can`t find the 3M. Good luck!

Like EBPcivicsi said: At least an hour on the UPP and the thinner the application, the better. Once you start layering, the depth will be there.

As for the tires, if they are that bad, try scrubbing them 2 or 3 times. Even on my own tires which I keep really clean, I routinely scrub them twice. (50/50 Simple Green mix).

    1. Hour on the UPP.

    2. It is my belief that a foaming action tire cleaner helps lift the dirt. Try scrubbing after a second spray after the dirt is loosened. follow with a protectent. I like AA Detailers Advantage (pick up at Wal-Mart). I have a Jeep Wrangler and put my 4X4 to use on a regular basis and being a detailer it just gives me a nice project every time I go 4 wheeling .

    3. I use a bug & tar remover that has been effective on tree sap with not too much elbow grease. I cannot recal the maker but I got it from wal-mart and it comes in a blue spray can.

    4. As far as removing wax from trim....try a hard brissel tooth brush and some 303. the tough part in removing it comes from not being able to penetrate the crevises on the surface of the trim. with the tooth brush you can get in there and work it out.

    Good Luck,
