I have yet to see a plane that a customer has asked me to detail. He seems to be concerned with using products that are safe for the materials the plane is made of.

The body of the plane is made of aluminum and magnesium which is painted white (not sure if it is clearcoat or single stage). He mentioned that there are chips in the paint and is concerned that an automotive wax could possibly harm the material underneath the paint (via the chips).

Im not concerned at all but maybe there is something I am missing. Surface preparation would be with SSRs (and a PC) and the wax I predominantly use and would use in this case is Collinites Insulator #845.

THanks in advance
