    Wal-Mart Microfibers towels

Today I was at Wal-Mart and noticed they had microfiber towels. Has anyone else seen these, bought these or tried these towels? I was thinking of buying some, but don`t know if they are any good.

I have some mfs from target and the mart. They seem to have a lint problem though. I wash them with my terry towels which doesn`t help.

They are fine , they leave a little lint when their new but after the first wash they are fine. Their not as good as some of those 3 and 4 dollor towels but for 1.00 each what the heck.

I bought some from Sam`s Club (probably the same). After two washings, they seem to be okay, but nothing special. They aren`t very plush.

im no expert, but i think washing a microfiber with a terry cloth isnt very smart, and may be the source of all your lint in your mf....

I have used the MFs from wal-mart .........
They lint really bad even after a couple washings ... so no good on interiors
They also leave smears or micro scratches when removing products like polish and wax.
There use is limited to door jambs and wheels ... etc.
Just my experience ... you usually get what you pay for.

Also, you are correct Zesty ... wash and dry MFs by themselves.

i`ve got a bunch of those wamart MF towels. I use them only on the windows, engine pieces, chrome bumpers and ss tips. I only use the poorboys and jt inter. mf towels on my paint.

The MF had a lint problem prior to washing with terry. Still do after. That`s why I mentioned the fact of how they were washed (with terry).

I have used them on customers paint and interiors with good results. They are reasonable, and work pretty good for the $. Most of my customers cars are so nasty and gross, I end up ruining at least one every detail. On my personal truck I use the one`s from TOL. No sense buying "top quality" MF`s if you are going to replace them after a couple of months like most professionals do anyways. Some people must have lint build up in their dryers, I have never had a problem with lint, ever.

The Wal Mart, here, has 2 different MFs. The small ones are thin, not very absorbent, and generally of lower quality. That said, I still have not seen them scratch mar anything, and would not be "afraid" to use them on my paint.

The new large MFs are pretty nice. They are the size of a small bath towel and are really plush and absorbent. They are about $6 each, and I have absolutely no complaints about them. Great job drying and buffing.

I use them and like them. They are not a Viper MF, but hey they work and are cheap. They have a fair amount of lint. I had to wash mine a couple times to get everything out.

Don`t dry too long or you with end up with a very small towel...learned that with my first batch....
