Question Hard water spots Targa tops?

Does any body know how to remove hard water spots from a targa top on a Corvette '11? I can't get a straight answer from anybody. It is a poly top, not actual glass.

Have you tried white vinegar? Mix it 50/50 with distiller water in a pan. Soak a towel in it and lay on the area for a few minutes. Remove and wipe. both items are about a dollar each at the grocery store.

If that doesn't work, try it full strength. Our Water Spot Remover for Glass would not be a good choice - it would likely scratch the surface, but I guess you could try it on a small spot if you're desperate enough.

Keep on mind that there is a UV coating on these, so go mild with your approach or you may compromise the coating.

Dissolving it with the vinegar solution is a great idea, but it may still require a light polishing with either our Plastic Polish #06208 or our PowerPlastic 4Lights #08808 (the same polish in our headlight kit) for any residue remaining.
