Default how to fix tail light

There is something on my rear tail light, I have tried plastic polish, wax, the clay bar system and nothing really has helped. Any suggestions?

Default Re: how to fix tail light

It looks like it's oxidized and pitted, and the plastic polish and other compounds are remaining behind in the recesses.

If that's the case, a headlight restoration kit using sanding pads might be in order, but it would be a bit of a chore.

You might be better off using some instant detailer and a toothbrush or detail brush and at least cleaning out the recesses.
