If they`re chrome plated, use a quality chrome polish. There are several good brands out there. Considering what the wheels cost, though, I`d stay away from the $1.99 stuff.

Mother`s Chrome Polish did a great job on the surface rust that was on most of the chrome of a motorcycle that had been stored in a shed for 6 years.
It`s also easy to find. Most any parts or discount store will have it on the shelf.

I doubt if the chrome wheels are clearcoated, but many wheels are. In that case, I think you might want to use a paint cleaner and sealant.

I agree and I`d make sure it`s also non-abrasive so that you don`t first wear down the chrome plating, which is rather thin, and second that you don`t introduce more scratches while cleaning

ps...after years of dealing with high end street rods, they also prefer non-silicone polishes which won`t haze upon high heat...

I`ve had chrome 18" Enkies on my truck for two years. I use Spray & Wipe almost daily. Once a month or so I`ll use PP by hand followed by EX-P.

Never any problems, great shine. :cool
Dream big and be willing to do the work to get there.
