What are all of your opinions, ( if any) on the little green monster/giant/whatever, hot water extractor that target sells?, its about $100, ?? right now i just use apc+ and prestoneand its pretty good, would a cheap extractor make a difference?

Any extractor would do. You will be able to pull out the junk you just spread around all over the carpet.

I like that Bissell Little Green from target - i just looked at it and I think im going to get me one - looks like it would really help my carpets sicne i cant afford a $1000+ extractor at the moment - lol!

Hey HBblazer, I did a search for Bissell and there are several responses to questions regarding the Bissell. I have posted one of them below (that`s if I did it correctly!)
I use mine (it`s the unheated one) and it does an O.K. job, recovery tank is pretty small. I bought the brush adapter for my PC from Dwane and that seems to work great on carpet, and finish with another good vacuuming.

I have had the heated one for over a year, and I love it. Its not the top of the line, but then its less than a 1/3 of the cost of the bigger models.
I have found that it will remove almost anything that I go after, and for guys like myself mainly a weekend detailer its great.
Draw backs:
Recovery and solution tanks are small so you spend time refilling and empting them. On large jobs its more a hassle than anything.
The hose is quite short and there is no extention avaible that I could find on the web.
So you are forced to move the uint around allot.
All in all its a great unit at the price!

so can you mix apc+ into the water for extracting?
NO it say to use there extractor solution, but I don`t. I buy a low foam extractor solution from a local company that works well.

Newbie here. i`m still in the planning stages of my detailing business. i have studied the bissell green machine and it seems like a good less expensive option for the part-time detailer. i have also found it at Wal-mart for $69.00 (heated)

If your interested in saving a couple of bucks check this link out. You can probaby save $10. This is where I got mine. And it arrived in just a couple of days. Mine was also a refurbished unit but a savings is a savings.

The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price.
