    Moose Twins on 04 F-150

    I got some VM, and CMW from Ranney (PakShak) last weekend and finally got a chance to try them out on Sunday. The VM is awsome goes on easy and comes off just as easy. Super slick I almost wanted to quit before using the CMW. The CMW is awsome stuff, I finally found a product that is easy to apply in a thin coat. This stuff goes on like soft butter. I think I found a winner here, this combo looks great on my truck.

    I also tried the Mr Clean AutoDry. I washed normally with NXT wash, but used the device only to rinse with the filtered water, hoping to save some time drying. You must need to use the whole system.....I ended up going back over the truck using the sheeting method. If you are thinking of trying this thing, save your money and get some ClearKote stuff.

    Heres some pics:

    What is VM stand for and what does CMW stand for ? I looked at their website and not sure what your talking about.

    I`ve heard good thing`s about these and have been talking to them quite a bit on the phone about business stuff, but was just curious.

    BTW the truck look`s awsome ....nice job !! I just got a Black Z71 Tahoe that need`s some product on it`s virgin paint. This might be a good test.

    Thank`s

    What did you use on that F-150 (and what were your steps in doing so).

    Beautiful shots, nice work.

    Man that is stunning! I love the way a perrrrtyy black truck looks. Nice work. The only problem is the amount of time these monsters need. You do that thing by hand?
    Don`t cry honey. I wasn`t polishing the car again. I swear! :naughty

    Thanks for all the great comments,

    VM= Vanilla Moose
    CMW= Carnuba Moose Wax

    I`ve had the truck for about three months, It was detailed at the dealer and they actually didn`t screw it up too bad.

    The first detail job consisted of Megs swirl free with a PC/white pad, PWC on a white pad, then EX by hand. that was about 7 weeks ago, so the paint was in pretty good shape.

    This time just wash with NXT wash, VM by hand with a foam pad, then CMW with a MF pad.

    I`m moving to California so my PC is gone right now, it`s definitely alot of truck to maintain.

    The truck is going to the port on Wed. to be shipped to Long Beach......I hope those yahoo`s don`t mess up my baby.

    Patrick,
    I`m gonna` be stationed in 29 Palms....The Marine Corps will only ship a vehicle to the nearest port, hence Long Beach. I only hope that the shippers don`t damage my latest toy. That and that the desert sun and sand don`t take too much of a toll on my paint.
