    My Saturday project

    This weekend I polished this Aluminum trailer, using the old fashioned method.

    And 12 hours later, after all was said and done, this is what it looked like after. I did not do the final wash on it yet, so there are some traces of compound.

    Stay close to 7.5 on the PH scale when washing, at least for a week or so.

    Tripoli and rouge with a wheel that is run by a drill motor. It is a pretty long and tedious process. It is also really, really dirty!!! It took me 45 minutes in the shower to get all of the black gunk off when I was done. That was wearing long sleeves, Nitrile gloves, and long pants, so that my face was the only thing exposed.
