    3M polishes and compounds

Im a little confused. Can somebody tell me which is the strongest to the weakest? I like Megs because they have that little scale on the label. I want to order some 3M, but I dont know what to get. Theres so many.

The compounds are the strongest/most aggressive.
Then go to a machine glaze, finish with foam polishing pad glaze, you should not need more than 3 products to get a shine...
I also recommend claying and "sealing/waxing" after you get "the shine".

Hey, I have a black 2000 grand prix, which I`ve zaino`d for the past few years, but there have always been swirls that ended up showing through. This summer I am going to use a different sealent, maybe wax combo, but first want to prep the paint well this time. What 3m products would remove the swirls, not just hide them? Also, if I use like UPP and its matching cleaner or something, will the 3m IHG be worth putting on or no?

I`m doing a black corvette today. Plan of attack is was, clay, polish, swril remover, glaze, wax. I use the orbital buffer that seems to get the clear coat where I want it. I drive a black car and after m,any years of swrils I`ve dialed the darker colors in.
The 3M dark swril remover seems to the trick for me.

My favorite 3m product is there foaming polishing pad glaze. Close second is the hand glaze though. My old regiment b4 i switched to norton was pi iii fast cut followed by the foaming polishing pad glaze and then hand glaze on dark cars. Excelent products.
