Nive looking engine bay one of the asreas in detailing that allot do not address. I`ll take a pic of my Jeep and BMW to post later. Can you tell me what type if any dressing are you using? I have been using a water based product that I mix on a ten to one ratio. I also use it in t he wheel wells and makes them look brand new after prewssure washing.
Thanks and again great job !!!!!!!!!!

    Engine Dressing...

I use a waterbased dressing called Lustre All from Detail Plus. I also use this product on the tires, and found that it gives a "new looking" matte finish on clean tires as opposed to a wet look that most solvent based dressing give off. I have also use a waterbased engine dressing from Rightlook.com and found this product to be excellent also.

This si the engine on a Mustang that I did over the weekend. You cansee the car on my thread "1997 Cobra Mustang" I had to drive this car 12 miles ot get ot my shop. It was hard to clean as I did not use water. I did not charge that guy for it just wanted to turn back a bit more than he expected, because he has 10 more cars much along this line.
Also I need a better camera mines a few years old and hard at time to work.

    Bravo !!! Very nice !!!

I saw a Cobra on the road with the same color paint about 1 week ago and I was floored. The car I saw was not nearly as well detailed as the car you displayed in the other link...Must be a happy customer... I owned a 2001 GT and let her go after I discovered I was having a second child. Sport coupes and children just dont mix Ha Ha !!! Nice job cleaning that engine !! I had an old pic somewhere of my GT engine. I post it if I find it... Thanks for the pic ...

I wish some others out there were up to the challenge of some before and after engine pics ... Let me see what you got !!!

The engine looks great. I worked at a Mercedes dealer for nearly 5 years and was turned on to Auto Magic products. Check out www.AutoMagic.com and look up Super Dress-It. This product is water based so as not to be dangerous in the engine bay. It can also be diluted to different ratios to vary the shine. Try out the 16 oz. trial size bottles and after you fall in love with it buy a gallon.
It does not matter what kind of vehicles you have detailed, it only matters if the customers keep coming back.

Sure, it`s shiny, but how smooth is it, and how does it look in direct sunlight?
