    Poorboys and Orbital

What is poorboys? Does it work as a Swirl REMOVER? That’s the only thing I am really looking for, a good swirl remover. Also how does it work with a couple of coat of Klasse AIO over it topped by Klasse High GS?

Also can it be easily applied with and orbital buffer with good results REMOVING swirl marks? I have tried to use 3M with an orbital and it sucked.

    Thanks

    02,

I`m sure Poorboy, and others will be by to give you more info on this. In the meantime, I`ll give you what I know about his products. My guess is, if you have very light swirls, you could use his Pro Polish to remove those swirls. He also has three additional swirl removers with different levels of abrasiveness - SSR1, 2, and 3.

As for using any of the above products with Klasse, I would say yes, as his products are water based, and do not contain wax or silicone. Therefore, the bond with Klasse or any other synthetic products should be fine.

My understanding is that his products go on and come off extremely easy, either by hand, or with a buffer. Although, I would guess that his SSR2, and SSR3 would require a rotary buffer to work the products properly.

    Hope this helps

Poorboys swirl removers in order of abrasiveness from least to most are; SSR1, SSR2 and SSR3. The SSR3 is a medium cut compound...pretty agressive stuff that should remove pretty much any problem you have that CAN be removed without wet sanding. Both the SSR1 and 2 work fine by hand, orbital or rotary. THe SSR3 would work best by rotary although I have seen it used by hand (and used it by PC) and it worked fine. Just took a little longer to use.

Pro Polish would be the least agressive of the bunch. For faint scratches/swirls it`ll do the trick.

Like Boss said any of them would work fine with AIO/SG. I have used the Pro Polish as a prep for UPP with not issues at all. The Pro Polish leaves behind a smooth, clean surface with no fillers or oily residue. Same for the SSR line.
