Default Exhaust tips

After searching the forum, I came across two different recommendations for cleaning/maintaining stainless steel. Those two different products were the billet polish or the mag & aluminum polish. Which product is best suited to polish up my exhasut tips? Sad to say, but they've been a little neglected.

Also, would the mag & aluminum polish be the proper product for this particular power steering reservoir?

I say mag & aluminum polish. I have seen it work well on any uncoated metal.

If the tips are neglected, Mag & Aluminum Polish would be the better choice.

Billet is a much finer polish, so it won't have the restorative ability that Mag Polish would.

Billet Polish is really made for billet and finely machined aluminum pieces. Using it on distressed surfaces won't result in a great improvement, as the polishing media is too fine to restore. In those instances, you would be better off to restore with Mag & Aluminum Polish, then use the Billet to create a flaw-free finish.

As for the power steering reservoir, I'd go with Mag & Aluminum Polish.
