    RV detailing

Does anyone here offer detailing of boats and RV`s? I was asked by a salesman if I ever considered and what I`d charge if I did. I let him know that I`d get back to him on this issue because it has never came up before. So if you do offer this...........how do you charge? By the foot? By the hour? He had said that they give $100-125 for a 30ft RV right now to their detailer. If you have anything please share. Thank`s

Years back, (1995) when I managed a detail center, I contracted with an RV rental center to maintain their fleet...

    $55 wash only (under 30`)
    $65 wash only (over 30`)
    $10 extra for Bus Conversions
    $20-25 extra for vacuuming
    $10/ft smooth-sided units, wash/wax
$15-30/foot smooth-sided units, complete details inside and out

since they were rentals, we ended up doing a lot of interior cleaning at an average up-sale of 80 bucks each. Was a great contract to have

For retail RV customers I charge about $15 per ft, depending on age and condition, for a complete detailing. That`s $450 for a 30ft RV.

For retail boat customers my prices run between $20 to $25 per ft depending on age and condition. That`s $600 to $750 for a complete detailing of a 30ft boat.

Your very close to the actual price. I charge $150.00 to $250.00 to wash a RV and charge $30 a foot to detail a boat. I live on the east coast in Va. Beach, there are plenty of boats and Rv`s.
