PWC question, it should arrive today...

I have red and black cars, will be redone in May or June with using SSR`s. Bascially this weekend I have limited time to spend, but want to improve the look of each car. I plan to wash then go over each car one time, either by hand or with a PC.

Here`s the list of what I have on hand (FYI):
    SSR2
    SSR1
    UPP
    AIO
    SG
    PWC (arriving today)
    P21S
    Spray & wipe
    QD+
    PUGE
    PC with all the pads

    Here`s my thought so far:

Use the PC with a polishing or finishing pad w/PWC until it dusts. Then over the next few weeks use a mix of S&W 60%-QD+40% to maintain it.

    Alternate idea:

PWC by hand. but just a layer, not worked in, let it dry then buff? Then the S&W/QD+ mix to clean up (would this add any gloss or depth if used immediately)?

    _____________________________

This may seem simplistic (I guess it is), but I love the PB products and their ease of use, I also really like the cars to look good, but I`m just time limited for the next 6-8 weeks. And they need more than a wash & gloss enhancer (they both have SG on right now).

By the way, I`m getting some Bold N Bright too, looking forward to it!

Thanks in advance for your help.

    prgallo,

If you can work in the shade, I would go with a process somewhere in between the two you`ve mentioned. I would use a PC and a finishing pad, and work the PWC just a bit, and then let it haze.

Thanks guys! Since the PC seems to give me great results I`ll use it, with the finishing pad, then let it haze, finally buff with MF.

I`m hoping to try the S&W mix w/QD+ as well to maintain it.

    Have a great weekend!

The new QD+ does not mix w/ S & W...that was a recipe for the old version which is still available upon request, the new version is factory pre-mixed

for cleaning 4-5(meaning you`re going to fully work it in) & for glazing 2-3 (speading it and then letting it haze before removal)

Uh oh, just mixed up a small batch of S&W with QD+, which I bought in Jan. Would that be a new batch or old batch? (it`s in a black plastic container with sprayer).
