Got my PC 7424 last week...

and used it for the first time on Saturday. Did an 01 white Ford Ranger.

Ordered the 6" velcro backing plate and 2 foam pads from my chemical supplier. Yellow and white. They suck.

Any opinions on the Edge pads for the PC? I know there are a TON of threads on this, so I`ll do some searching.

Looks like 60% chance of rain today, so after I finish this F-150 I`m about to start on, it looks like a short drive up to PAC for the stainbuster.

    Is Dwayne back?

    Regards,
    Mike R.

Good to see you have a PC! Which supplier did you use? I would only trust Meguiars / Lake Country / Edge pads currently. Some professional distributors also have nice stuff, but thats personal experience. I think you definitely need more than 2 pads. At least 3 or 4 pads for polish / finish.

The Edge pads are great! The new DA durafoam are really strong and the velcro look likes its imbedded in the pad. The Edge2000 pads have a little work to go through, because of the adapter issue that they are fixing. But not having a backplate rocks! With 2 pads you can mix alot.

Dwayne should be back July 1st. I hope the Edge 2000 pads upgrade soon. You can still go down to PAC and see Mike.

    Thanks Woob!

Got my PC from my Mark Supply dist. out of Venice. Unfortunately, the only Egde pads they had were for the rotary, which I have and abundance of.

Just got off the phone with Mike at PAC. He`s got all the colors in stock, and I`ll probably wind up buying a couple of each.

Maybe I`ll try some of these Poorboy`s or 4* products ya`ll rave about.:naughty :drool

Anybody with ideas on what I should spend some $$$ on?

Their MF`s are awesome, maybe another 12 pack is a good idea...

stainbuster are you sure they are edge pads from Mark Supply? We don`t sell them. It may be a cheap fake version of our pad made by a competitor. Even though it looks like an Edge pad it is not. If you email me I will forward you a sheet we made about the differences.

    Thanks,

    Aaron
