Looks like you need a lint roller or something to get that hair out of the mat, and yes a little more attention paid to the carpeting would have paid off.

The paint correction looks good. I am assuming it was done by hand?

Great job on cleaning the mats but in the vac stage take your time and work the rugs real well, get way under the dash...then when you are done while cleaning with the APC....clean under the dash area as well...the rubber boot that connects to the steer wheel post as dirt on it...detailing is just that...pay attention to everything

Other than that you did a bang up job to start

what I have found for hair is to vac one way, then vac the other way.

The mats look great, but I agree with the others, you need a little more time vacuuming and take a qtip or some type of small brush and get into those vents...

the paint looks good judging by the pics

    Re: I need constructive critism..

I know I didn`t get a "real good look" at the paint finish, but from the pics I can still see some marring. I don`t know if it`s removable or not, but one thing you might could do is work a more aggressive pad to begin with and then finish it out.

Again, I am just grabbing straws. It`s real hard to tell without being there and without a detailed description of what you did.

I think it looks pretty darn good. Especially the paint correction. Just think how good it would be if you had some Poorboy`s World products!

    Re: I need constructive critism..

I agree with everything that has been said. There are some techniques to get the straw or hair out of the carpet that might be useful, but you can`t deny that it was a big improvement. The paint was a big improvement too. A stronger polish or cutting pad and then a follow up with a lighter polish is what I would have done probably. There is still quite a bit of haze and some swirls left that would have been removed by a stronger polish, but I think you did a great job. Certianly better than what it looked like before.

It is very risky to put any dressing on brake pedals or gas pedals. I read an article once where someone drove out from a detail shop and went directly into a tree. She blamed the dressing on the brake pedal for the accident and sued the detailer. Very risky indeed... Soap and water is all I ever use on the brake pedal if anything. Usually I just brush them out and leave them be.

your starting to get there...if your vacuum has a blower junction use that in areas like under the seats, dask, vents and real tight areas so that it can blow out a lot of dust and dirt...it will safe you time and make it easier on you in the end
