    Too much time

Ok, i have a problem. I have been unable to get my regular wash times under an hour. HOw long to all of you pros take to do a regular wash- outside , inside, tires, wipe down interior, dress int, windows. ? I am too much of a perfectionist and i make myself remove every scuff and mark on the car, but its only a basic wash, i just want people to realize how much better it is than a car wash. I really want to get it under an hour, any advice? How long to you take?

by the way i charge $25 for a wash

keep doing quality work you will figure out a routine that is faster .. everyone does it a little different ...but never sacrifice quality for quantity ...let the guys at the carwash do halfass work ..washing is just part of detailing ... are you a detailer or a carwasher? remember your reputation is on the line every time you touch a car...if you are that fussy then charge more ..time is money

Don`t sacrifice quality for time, as bigron said you could charge more

I say just keep doin great work and who cares how long it takes as long as the customer is happy at the end. I am the same exact way, when a customer asks me for a regular wash or even just a 1 step wax sometimes i still clay the car jsut so it can be as close to perfect as possible because i if im not satisfied i feel that they wont be satisfied.

Goods points, i guess id rather the customer feel like they got more than they paid for instead of feeling like they paid too much. just for curiosity , what do your rountines look like for a basic wash? what is included? thanks
