I think I have Detailing OCD!

I keep 2 oz. bottles of Degreaser, Vinyl Dressing, Carnuba Wax and Odor Eliminator in my truck at all times as well as a bottle of QD, a microfibre cloth and a Califonia duster.

At stop lights, I detail the dash, steering wheel, or anything else within reach that looks a little dusty. I haven`t quite got to the point where I get out and detail the exterior, but that can`t be far off.

I think I should seek help.

Brave man to admit that, I at least wait until I`m in the parking lot before I start cleaning and wiping things off.

Yep, I`m with ya on this one too! I carry a vent brush, and an MF in my console. If I`m waiting in traffic, or waiting for the wife to come out of the store, I always get the stuff out, and touch up things a bit.

Can`t do it with the wife in the vehcile though, as she starts telling me how dirty my den is!

Of course you don`t imagine how I justified her the acquisition of 12 S&W bottles... I took one one and detailed the glass table, the windows, the... once I also polished the refrigerator, the washing machines.... Now she does it, she has her own S&W.

Yeah my mom barks at me saying:

"You spend 4 hours every weekend detailing your car. You get out a toothbrush to clean the vents, and you use towels to clean dirt out of the door jambs! So why cant you atleast spend 5 minutes a day cleaning up your desk in your room?"

Some people just do not understand.

I need to tell the wife she has to buy her wn stuff. A week or so ago she used my last bit of Spray and Wipe to clean her car. THen again, it gave me an excuse to buy a 5 gallon jug of it.

I pulled off the highway once to clean off some bird crap from my hood. I got a few funny looks from by-passers. And as far as keeping things in your car. I have my rotory, pc and at last 15 gallons of various products in the backseat/trunk of my daily driver! I`ve never done anything while driving though. I supose it`s a good way to be productive. I may have to give it a go.
