I went to the Chicago show and wondered myself. The Maserati cars looked unbelievable but the honda cars looked like, well shizzle. They had a dude walking around with a red shop rag cleaning the Acuras.
Bottom line, pro detailed on exotics, dealer detailed on rest (IMHO).

I have seen swirls at the Autoshow in the low end sections. They use regular products like we do but have experts working the field by the Exotics I have seen them use QD once to get all the Fingerprints off the paint. The exotics are always being a rope so you cant toach them or sit in them.

during the media showing at the chicago show they had a bunch, and i mean a bunch, of guys walking around with quick detailers and terry rags. pretty much no cars seemed to be off limits to them, they were shining on everything, constantly. all the cars are new so it`s hard to say what kind of prep went into them prior to coming to the show. but it was quick detail city during the preview.

here are some pictures from the show of some people cleaning on them (cars). i mostly waited until they were out of the way to take pics but there was so many of them and they were constantly wiping on the cars, so i did catch a few in the act...

here is someone quick detailing on an aston martin volonte:

here is some dude cleaning on a boxster`s wheels:

Finial Detail has that color to its light blue and kind of foams at the top. I could be one or the other They could atleast give the guys a better suit to wear when they present auto`s like that.

at the Miami auto show I noticed the same thing, they were using Final Detail. They were mostly just removing the grease and fingerprints not really shining the car.
