    NXT Review w/pics

Well I decided to give some NXT a try. I have had it since late January but never really played with it much. A week ago I decided to give it a full fledged try.

I first prepped the surface with #9, then went to #7 and then topped it with NXT.

I applied the NXT with a PC, Lake Country Finishing Pad, and PC set on 3. It spead very easily and a little went a long way. I waited 20 mins after applying to whole vehicle and then buffed off with a MF towel. I then waited 24hrs and added another layer using the same process as before.

This has only been on the truck for a week so longevity I cant comment on but it does provide a deep glossy look. It didnt really seem to do anything for the metalflake in my paint but that isnt what I was shooting for I was looking for the wet look. This provided that in a basic one step process. I cant comment on its ability to clean and fill swirls either as I used #9 and #7 before it.

All in all a very good product, can buy most anywhere, leaves a great shine. The only thing I didnt like about it is it seems to attract alot of dust. I work construction and am subject to alot of dust and this definatly liked the dust but other than that it looks great. Is very slick. Provides a real nice gloss wet look. I would say if your not subject to dust like I am to definatly give this a shot.

    Here is a few pics:

I have since these pics topped it with #26 just trying to get that little extra out of it. I didnt really see any real big difference after topping it with #26. I would suggest just letting it alone.

    Tommy,

You truck looks very, very nice! If you are looking for a wet look, I would not use #26. The #26 had a very nice "rich/satin" look................ but not as wet as some other products.

If you want more wetness, and want something locally, look around for a motorcycle shop that handles S100.
