    Talking Engine Detailing Solution

The first time I detailed my engine was last night and I was pretty happy with the results. However since I botched the exterior of my car so much I am worried that I probably shouldn`t be detailing my engine with Armor All. What do you guys use to keep that engine shiny and new looking? Thx. Rob

After cleaning, I used Meguiars Engine Kote for the first time today..., I really like it!!!

I`d really like to try some of that Engine Kote stuff! My engine compartment is one of my detailing weak points. Usually, a quick washing, followed by a light wipe down with Meguiar`s #40 is all I do. Too much "stuff" to detail in there.

So, with the Engine Kote, you just kinda "mist" it all over?

I put it in a fine mist spray bottle and sprayed away. I decided, since it is water based, I didn`t need to wait until it was completely dry.
    It looks great this morning!
I didn`t do a complete detail in the compartment since I was just experimenting with it..., now I wish I had it looks so good.
I am hoping it doesn`t attract dirt, dust, etc...
