    fillers and scratches!!!

    what companies out there make a product that you can use just to "fill" light scratches and swirls? i know its best to try to remove them but what about something you need in a quick fix. i heard of one that was pink in color and was in a quart size or so

    name of product and manufacture thank you :}

    The only pink product in a quart size that comes to mind is Liquid Luster (might be Lustre). It does a terrific job of bringing paint to life and shines very well. I don`t know how it does as a filler.
    The big drawback to the stuff is the high oil content that gives you the great shine. It is a dust magnet like you wouldn`t believe. I really doubt that it offers much protection and probably doesn`t last too long.

    it also has a very high kerosene content ..not great for clearcoats....

    one of the long standing temporary fillers is 3m hand glaze, but the first rain puts you back to where you were

    Frankie...if you need more than that then it`s time to do a polishing session on the car to remove , not hide them...

    The pink stuff you are looking for is called 3M Fill `N Glaze. It comes in quarts and fills in swirls quite adequately. You should be able to find it online, or at a body shop supply company.

    Good luck!

    While the Fill N` Glaze will leave a nice shine itself, I would recommend topping it with a sealant like EX, otherwise it will wash right off. Not only that, but it will increase the gloss factor.

    Glad I could help! Post pics when you`re done. Good luck!
