Question PB Natural Look - Streaks ?

When I use PB Natural Look (full strength) on the black plastic trim & "bumpers" on my CR-V, I get streaky results. I apply it evenly, wait a few minutes, buff it with a clean MF, and then when I look at it an hour later, it seems to have been absorbed into the black unevenly and leaves streaks which I then can buff out, but this repeats. Any ideas on how to protect these areas & give them an EVEN but not SHINY sheen?

Natural Look is primarily made for interiors not exteriors..it`s water-based and will be absorbed into the grain if not thorough cleaned first...Trim Restorer which is made for exterior Trim will work for what you are looking for.

Yeah, Natural Look is not good for exteriors. I tested it on a new Honda Civic Si and it did not look too great. However, Trim Restorer seems to be working out great.

Norah - Are your bumpers and trim made of a very smooth and hard plastic? If that is the case, you may be better off using products meant for painted surfaces. Something like Poorboy`s Polish with Carnauba, Pro Polish, or Clearkote Vanilla Moose would be good choices. Then, top off with your regular sealant or wax. On the other hand, if your trim pieces are textured/grainy, then Trim Restorer would be the correct product to use. Just apply, wait about 15 minutes, then wipe with a clean dry towel.
