    Critique my process

Now that I have a feel for what`s I`m doing to my car and how to get the look I want, anyone care to critique my detailing process?

    Here it goes:
I have a brand new dark blue car, and a cloat of Klasse AIO on it.

    As Needed - 1-5x week
Wipe down with QD spray - right now Meg`s Quik Detailer, but soon to be Poorboy`s Spray & Wipe
    Clean windows

    Once a Week
    Wash (Mr Clean)
    Wheel/Wheel well cleaning w/ Meg`s APC+ 10:1
Tire Dressing (right now No Touch tire foam - don`t laugh! )
Follow with a liberal application of Meguiar`s Quik Wax (Soon to be PB`s QD+)
    Vaccuum out the inside

    Monthly After Wash
Interior cleaning and protect w/ 303
    Clean floor mats

    Every 3 months
Wash w/ Dawn (or Meg`s APC+ 64:1?) for wax removal.
Polish with SSR1 to remove swirls
    Recoat with AIO
Top with a good wax (unsure - Nattys sounds good)
    Treat Leather with Lexol

Does this sound like a good regimen to keep things looking great?

Any and all comments are appreciated! Thanks for all the patience and tips!

Sounds like a plan! - I would recommend you clean and dress your leather once a month rather than every three months though -

My only issue with that is that I have heard that the leather Infiniti used on the G is too soft or something like that and those who have had issues seemed to be conditioning too much. Have any of the professional detailers heard of anything like that?

The last car I had with Leather was a 97 Cobra, and after 48k the seats looked quite bad. But, Ford probably used dog leather in that - everyone`s complaint was how cheap the leather was. I did frequently condition it, though as I hate the Old Nike smell when leather is not cleaned properly and you open the door on a hot day...

I would also add claying as needed. On your quarterly detail, I would skip the dawn and substitute your regular wash product and use Poorboys Professional Polish.

    Sounds great!

Definitly go with the 303 in your interior.

You may consider using Poorboy`s EX-P or Wolfgang`s Sealant in place of AIO. I personally think it looks better and should provide you with full three months of protection.

Sub in 4 Star leather and cleaner for Lexol. I do my BMW and Murano once a month. The BMW leather shows no wear at all its 4 years old the Murano is an 04, no contest there. Oter than that you look like you have a great plan of attack. I`d say that anyone that gives weekly attention to thier cars will see the reward many years down the road!!
