I have a 2003 A4 1.8T Service information is availible on the Bentley CD Rom. I think information for a 1996 A4 still comes in a Bentley shop manual.( And I even think there is a Haynes manual covering that year, availible in your local car parts store) If you run a Google search you should find several sites selling these CDs and manuals.
Treat it like it`s the only one in the world.

    hey groe!

I have to say the Audi`s interiors are AMAZING! That is if you get the higher models and not the base packages. In terms of engine, it should have about the right amount. The only concerns I ever have heard are that sometimes (since they have a strong tie to Volkswagen) some parts are defective or there are cheap components. This is NOT true for all Audis, I believe it really has to do with the very basic and low models.

1996 is awfully old, even with 77k miles. Have you looked at any other vehicles? Tons of cheap cars that are a great value are on the market now.

If you want to keep detailing, take note Audi paint is quite a trouble sometimes.

    Hope I could help!
