TS and LS w/TS - pics Updated

Added a third coat of Trade Secret to the truck and topped the Liquid Souveran on the wife`s car with a coat of Trade Secret. Actually, her car has two coats of Souveran - one was applied two weeks ago.

Disregard the wheel wells as I didn`t have time to do them. The sun was getting pretty low in the sky, and I`ve tried to show the comparison between the two as best I could.

First one is of the truck hood with the third coat of TS.

NOw that`s a shiny little RED Pickup. Excellent job. What a reflection. I love an overcast day for detailing.
The bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the sweetness of low price.

    kee,

I think they both look nice! You`ve got the "shinniest Chevy`s" in Ohio!

Yes, the Souveran paste would be like the Trade Secret, in that it wouldn`t remove very little of the previous layer.

What did you use on the tires............. that`s a nice satin look!

Frozen - not yet - that`s going to have to wait till later this week - I am just too tired tonight.

Boss - I used Meguiar`s Endurance on the cavalier - two weeks ago and nothing since! On the truck I used 4* Bazooka a week ago and nothing since! They are both holding up nicely.

Can you tell any difference between the two - since the car has the combo and the truck is straight TS? I thought I could tell some difference - though my eye is not very well trained in the art yet. I think I will get the Souveran paste next spring.

I hope it doesn`t rain tomorrow.

    kee,

Pretty hard to tell with just pics. Your truck looks a tad darker, and that makes sense, as the TS will do that with each layer.

Again, they both look great! The important thing is what "YOU" like!

The Trade Secret can be bought at www.topofhteline.com and the Pinnacle Liquid Souveran can be bought right here in the Detail City supply shop http://www.premiumautocare.com/pilisowax.html

Very nice products and they should be in each detailers arsenal.

    Adios,

Am I missing something? Does LS have cleaners in it? If so how can you tell. From what I understood, it is pure was like P21S or Souveran?

It`s not that it has cleaners in it but rather the debate is that many of the liquid waxes, like LS, have solvents in them that "may" effect what it is being laid on top off.
