    milk stain/oder

    What do you all use to get out the repulsive oder of spilled Milk?

    While I have never had to try it, I have heard that baking soda will do it.
    Try sprinkling some dry soda on the area, brush it around and vacuum it up.
    If that doesn`t do it, you could mix up a baking soda/water solution and actually wash the area. I think I would probably just get the area fairly damp, then blot it up with a clean towel.
    Maybe some of the Pro`s will have some better ideas.

    Hey Turbo,

    I had the same issue at the end of last summer and here`s what I did.

    Thoroughly cleaned the source/stain in the carpet with carpet shampoo. Once the carpet was cleaned, I used a product called Odor Rid (from Details Plus). This stuff is actually pretty good when you have that moldy type of smell in cars as it supposedly attacks the fungus itself. The odor was gone after using this product but I then followed up with an ozone treatment and the interior seemed be good as new.

    This worked for me but I`m sure someone else will pitch in with other ideas.
